Terms of use
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms are between you and Dominion TechOps Ltd, who make VenueReady. We are a company registered in England and Wales, number 17266496, with our registered office at Hockeys Farm, South Gorley, Fordingbridge, England, SP6 2PW.
What VenueReady does and does not do
VenueReady helps you organise and record how your venue prepares for an emergency: it helps you write procedures, share them with staff, send alerts and keep records of briefings and drills.
VenueReady does not certify that your venue meets the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 or any other law and it does not replace professional advice. You are responsible for your venue's procedures, for checking they suit your venue and for meeting your legal duties. The guidance in the app is general and is shown with the date it was last checked.
Alerts
Alerts are sent by push notification to the phones of everyone at your venue. Phones can be switched off, out of signal or set to silent and delivery is not guaranteed. Always have another way to warn people, such as calling out or a fire alarm. The status board shows who has answered; anyone who has not may not have seen the alert.
Accounts
- Keep your sign-in codes to yourself. You are responsible for who you invite to your venue and for removing people who leave.
- Owners and managers must only add staff who have agreed to be added and only enter the information VenueReady asks for: a name and an email address.
- Do not use VenueReady to send messages that are not about safety at your venue.
Plans and payment
- A new venue has a free 30-day trial. After that, publishing procedures, inviting staff, running drills and logging briefings need a paid plan. Real alerts always go out to the staff a venue already has, whether or not it has a plan.
- Plans are paid through Google Play or by card through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Cancel in Google Play or from the link in Plan and billing. Refunds follow the rules of the store you paid through.
- A yearly plan can also be paid by invoice. Ask for one from Plan and billing in the web version of VenueReady.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
Our responsibility
We work to keep VenueReady available and secure, but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using VenueReady at any time and ask us to delete your venue's information. See how to delete your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms and will tell you why.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
